Kasperi Kapanen played just 4:42 before leaving Monday’s victory over Nashville with an arm injury. He joins a long list of Maple Leafs to have missed game action due to injury but both he and the team are hoping it won’t be a long absence. Coach Sheldon Keefe was encouraged post game, saying that X-rays on Kapanen’s arm had come back negative. Kapanen was also spotted after the game without a sling or brace.
